The Faisaliyah tower in blue lighting. I have only seen the blue lights on one occasion and they had them on for only two nights after the Riyadh explosion..Normally the lights are white. On Eid holidays and Ramadan they turn green and for October breast cancer awareness, pink!

This horse was racing yesterday at Riyadh Equestrian Club which holds races every Friday throughout the winter months. This weekend was a special event called the Crown Prince Cup and many of the horses had ornaments in their manes for the special occasion.

These coats are called farwas, they are very heavy and thick coats worn by Saudis during the cold winter months. The coats are made of lambs wool and they don't have buttons in the front, it's worn wrapped around the body. Most of the designs and sizes sold at souqs are meant mainly for men but here for sale farwas made especially for women.
